June A. Schey, of Deerbrook, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by family. She was 77 years old. She was born on May 19, 1935 in Chicago, IL a daughter of Fred and Betty (Schachner) Rodisch. She married Bill Schey on December 25, 1953 in Chicago. He survives.
In 1975 she moved to Deerbrook and was a member of Kempster United Church of Christ.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, flower gardening, reading, writing and cooking. She was devoted to caring for her son, Patrick.
In addition to her husband she is survived by seven children, Patrick Schey of Deerbrook, Kelly (Kurt) Derlein of Deerbrook, Kimberley Schey-Scuglik of Rhinelander, Timothy (Robin) Schey of Woodstock, IL, Michael Schey of Deerbrook, Nancy Ray of McHenry, IL and Bill (Connie) Schey of Barrington, IL; 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Richard Scuglik and Carl Ray.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society.

I am sorry to learn there was a death in your family. The loss of a loved one is painful. Mark 5:35-43 reads in part...While Jesus was speaking, he overheard men telling an officer of the synagogue his daughter had died. Jesus, Peter, James and John, the brother of James went alone to the child's home. Jesus told the child to get up. Immediately, she got up. You see, Jehovah promises a resurrection of our loved ones. We must have faith in this promise. (Read Isa. 55:11 and Isa. 25:8.)
