Reginald R. Bunten, of Antigo, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and his family. He was 69 years old. He was born on August 16, 1943 in Antigo, a son of Marion (Bunten) Ritenour. He married Marilyn Gilbertson on July 25, 1970 at Calvary Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on October 16, 2011.
He was a graduate of Antigo High School and served in the National Guard from 1964-1970.
He was employed by Vulcan-Brunswick for 45 years, retiring in 2006.
He was an avid collector of antiques and enjoyed the history of Antigo.
Survivors include two sons, Travis (Sherry) Bunten, Antigo and Derek (Erin) Bunten, Eau Claire; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Brittney Bastle, Antigo.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his aunt, Alice Bunten.
At Mr. Bunten's request, no services will be held.
