Ann S. Stewart, of Waupaca, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at her home. She was 89 years old. She was born on April 4, 1923 in the Town of Ackley, a daughter of Frank and Valeria (Banczak) Jeropke. She married George Stewart on September 16, 1944 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1998.

She attended Eau Claire Grade School in the Town of Ackley and graduated from Antigo High School in 1941. She moved to Chicago and was employed by Sears & Roebuck for 43 years retiring in 1985. She moved back to Antigo in 1988. In 2008 she moved to Waupaca where she resided with her niece.

She enjoyed crocheting and going to bingo.

Survivors include sisters-in-law, Bernice Jeropke, Chicago, IL and Jeanne Jeropke, Plainfield, IL; nieces and nephews, Ronald (Ruth) Burke, Bonnie Pronger, Gerald (Michelle) Jeropke, Donna Svejda, Robert (Betty) Jeropke, Nancy (Royal) Kunze, Allen Jeropke, Gail Jeropke, Susan Lenzner, Linda (Ed) Keating and James (Cathy) Jeropke; and many great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and a great great great nephew. She will also be missed by her cat, Bugs.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by five brothers, Constant, Albert, John, Anton and infant brother, Frank Jr. and three sisters Marie Burke, Rose Shimpach, and infant sister, Mary.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be 4- 8 p.m. on Friday and 9-10 a.m. on Saturday at the Bradley Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be held Friday at 4:30 p.m.
