We were so sorry to hear of Faith's passing. I worked for Butch and Faith at their grocery store in the early 1950's, when Mary was a very young girl. Faith shared her published books with me and my wife. She will be missed. She was a very special person.

Faith was my beloved aunt. She was also my mother Marie's best friend. They thoroughly enjoyed each other's company. What fun they had together especially role playing the TV cast of "I Love Lucy". Faith (Lucy), Marie (Ethel), uncle Butch (Ricky), and my dad Ernie, (Fred), had so much fund pretending and acting out those roles which they did for years! Now, they are all reunited in heaven and I can only imagine the laughs they are enjoying. Goodbye aunt Faith. We will miss you immensely.
Your nephew,
Dick Schremp

To Faith's family, although I do not personally know you, I grew up visiting your parents grocery store on North Ave daily. Your parents were the kindest people I have ever met. Whenever us kids didn't have enough money your dad would just smile and say "That's ok" and let us have the candy anyways. Both of your parents were wonderful people and surely made a positive impact on my life. I hold you all in my prayers.

Losing Faith makes this a sad day, but I believe she would not want it to be a mournful one.

Faith had a talent for living life large and she certainly took advantage of that talent throughout her 91 years. As a boy, being her nephew allowed me to see the joy it gave her to simply be in the game.

Today, I will celebrate her life and rejoice that I was able to bask in the bright reflection of her joy for a time.
