Lisa, I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband and your brother. Until I saw Jay's obituary, I hadn't been aware of Pete's passing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you will somehow find comfort in this very difficult time.

K Kyle Palmer on Nov 8, 2012

Pete was good buddies with my brother George. In high school they worked together at Sparks Food Store in Crandon. Pete and George are both in heaven now, probably catching up and sharing some laughs. My sympathies to Pete's family.

Lisa, All of us at Rick's 45 Roadhouse send our sincere condolences to you and you family. I met Pete before I moved back to Antigo. We were both in the same bike show and we spent a lot of time talking motorcycles. Pete was a great guy and he really enjoyed his Harley. We always loved to have Pete as a customer at Rick's 45 Roadhouse. He will be missed...

Lisa and Nia there are no words to describe my pain. But know that I will always be there for you. Pete would want us to go on and to remember the good times that we had together. He was a great brother, wonderful husband, and loving father. He will always live in my heart. I love you both.

There are no words that I could write here that would take away the pain of losing such a wonderful man. But always remember, Nia and Lisa, he is always with you. When you talk to him, he will hear you and wrap his arms around you. With the support of friends, family, God, and your guardian angel, Pete... you will get through this hard time in your lives. I am so sorry that you have to go through the lose of such an amazing husband and father far too soon. Please always remember, that you have so many people who love you more than words can say - who would drop anything to come visit you, talk to you, listen to you, laugh with you, or cry with you. Your support system is huge, lean on them when your strength isn't enough. Pete is so proud of the family he had and he will never leave you in spirit.

CandleDear Lisa, Nia, Herb, Tina and Jay,
I am very saddened to hear about Pete's death.
It strikes me that if it was to be, it was wonderful that he was at least able to be present and enjoy his daughter Nia's wedding before passing.
All our love,
Jackie, Hans and Wolfgang

Pete was SUCH a positive influence on me. I always had passion for music and playing guitar, but he definitely took it to a whole new level by showing such interest and always supporting me. While I am deeply sad that he is gone, I will always, always cherish all of the wonderful memories. Here are just some of them that stick out in my mind...like the time Pete couldn't believe I had never seen the movie Crossroads and we had to rent it THAT night. I own the movie now and watch it every year and think of him. Pete and Lisa trusting me with their credit card for the weekend to get tickets for all of us to see Van Halen at Alpine Valley in '95. Financing that sweet purple tiger-stripe Ibanez electric guitar for me! Introducing me to music by Jethro Tull and Sheryl Crow and many, many others. Going to the stock car races many Fridays...I think people just assumed Pete and Lisa had two daughters. Pete and Lisa asking me to teach Nia guitar. I believe she was 9 or 10 and I must have been about 17. She was my first 'official' guitar student. Who knew five years later I would have 60 students! Pete's passion and knowledge for music was so infectious and inspiring. He will be missed. My prayers go out to Lisa and Nia.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of this incredible man. I met Pete and Lisa after they were first married and I was just a young teenager. I can't even express the wonderful influence that they were in my life and then years later in my niece's life also. Pete was the type of man who touched a person's life in a positive way and his memory will live on forever. I have watched Nia grow into such a beautiful, kind woman and I feel blessed to have this family in my life. God bless your family during this very difficult time. Peace and love.

To Lisa, Nia, Herb and Tina and to Pete's Family, We are so very sorry to hear that Pete passed away. There just are no words to lessen the pain or ease the loss. Lean on your families and friends, allow them to help in any way they'd like and remember the good times....the memories will bring tears, but also smiles. And he will remain in your hearts forever.

Nia and family: I am so sorry for you loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
I have to share that when I think of your dad, I remember being in your basement when we were little and we would just play around on the drums. I always thought it was so cool that he didn't care.

L Lisa V on Oct 29, 2012

I am unable to attend Pete's services as I will be out of town on business but I wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you. All my sympathy and love!
