Donna Torgerson, of Antigo, died Monday, October 1, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 77 years old. She was born on December 5, 1934 in Antigo, a daughter of Reinhold and Agnes (Prasalowicz) Berndt. She married Wallace Torgerson on February 20, 1954 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. He survives.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1952.
Mrs. Torgerson was employed by Langlade County working in the Health Department for 22 years as bookeeper and receptionist at the front desk. She retired in 1992.
Her hobbies included reading, fishing, growing flowers, knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed the companionship of her cats: Skeeter, Mouse, Daisy and Cookie.
Survivors including her husband are three daughters Teresa Torgerson, Antigo, Sandra (Jeff) Lange, Mosinee, Laura (Tom) Falk, Antigo; a son Michael Torgerson, Waldorf, Maryland; eight grandchildren Kori Auner, Andrea, Patrick and Thomas Torgerson, Brian Murray, Kristie, Nicole and Katie Falk; seven great-grandchildren Dakotah, Annika, Xaria, Emily, Collin, Cade and Taylan.
a sister Mildred Welnetz, Antigo; a brother Carl (Mary) Berndt, Merrill.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9 - 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother that loved her family dearly.

I remember when we would go to Great Grandma and Grandpa's and we'd have dinner or lunch there for the holidays. I miss Her so much.
