Charles "Chuck" Bula, of Antigo, died Friday, September 28, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 70 years old. He was born on October 3, 1941 in Winona, MN a son of Billie Bula of Antigo and the late Waymeth (Roy) Bula. He married Angeline Sinkler on August 1, 1964 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo. She survives.
He attended St. John Parochial school and was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1960.
Mr. Bula was a truck driver for 48 years having hauled potato's and working for his uncle on the George Bula Potato farms from 1960-1964. He then drove straight truck for Cavanough Produce, and Julius Michaels and drove over the road trucking for Mortenson Brothers Trucking and Leon Edwards. For several years he owned and operated his own truck before working for Distributors LTD in Antigo, J.P. Mach farms in Plover and most recently for Lund Transport of Antigo. He retired in 2008 and will be remembered as the wandering trucker.
He enjoyed time with his children and grandsons, attending antique truck shows, driving his Oliver tractor and mowing lawn on the cub cadet.
He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Antigo, was a Future Farmers of America Alumnus and was a founding member of the Northwoods Tractor Club.
Survivors including his wife are a daughter Cynthia Bula, Antigo; a son Richard (Terese) Bula , Antigo; two grandsons Jacob and Alex Bula; his father Billie Bula, Antigo; a sister Mary (Stephen) Bradley, Antigo; two brothers David and Edward Bula, Mole Lake; an aunt Angeline (Norman) Cejka, Antigo; an uncle Raymond (Mary) Bula, Madison; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Bula.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3:30 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9 - 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. A parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday also at the funeral home.

Wow....Words can not even express how i feel, what i can say is, i am glad i was one of the people who had the honor of getting to know and take care of him while he was in the hospital. Talking to to him brought a smile to my face every time i was in the room,cause no matter how he may have been feeling that day.....HE WOULD ALWAYS HAVE A SWEET SMILE TO GIVE YOU .
