Timothy Alan Zahurones, of Summit Lake, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in an automobile accident. He was 52 years old. He was born on August 17, 1959 in Oak Park, IL a son of Jeanette (Szurko) Zahurones of Summit Lake and the late Henry Zahurones.
He was a 1978 graduate of Antigo High School and received his welding certificate from Nicolet Technical College in Rhinelander. Mr. Zahurones worked as a welder in the Wausau area.
He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. His other hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening and going to the casino with his mother. He was a NASCAR fan and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In addition to his mother survivors include a daughter, Morgan Adamski, Schofield; two brothers, Dennis (Nancy) Zahurones, Deerbrook and Kevin (Debbie) Zahurones, Wausau; and his significant other, Tammy West, Pearson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Omer Kelley officiating. Burial will take place in St. Wencel Catholic Cemetery, Neva. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
