J John A. Miller on Mar 17, 2012

Dear Scott,
I sent the photo of Lorraine and her siblings, and I think my note was cut off.

I just want to extend to you and your family my deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother. She sounds like a wonderful person; I wish I could have met her.

May God bless you and your family at this difficult time.

In Christ,
John A. Miller from Milwaukee (your third cousin)

J John A. Miller on Mar 17, 2012

Dear Scott,

My name is John Miller, a grandson of Marie (Kading) Miller of Milwaukee. My grandma and your grandfather Carl were cousins and dear friends. Just this evening in doing genealogy research, I came across a letter from Lorraine to my grandmother telling her of your grandmother Ella's death in 1983. From the name on the return address, I was able to do more on the family tree via the internet. How shocked I was to learn that your mother, Lorraine, had just passed a short time ago.

I just want you to know you have my sympathy. She must have been a very wonderful person. I wish I could have gotten to know her.

I will try to attach a photo I have in my family archives of your mom and siblings. You probably have the same one in your collection. I'm not sure it will work to attach it. Perhaps I can get it to you in some other way later on if this doesn't work.

God's blessings to you and your family,
John A. Miller (your third cousin)
