A Amy Clark on May 4, 2013

Sid was a good man. In high school, I got into some trouble and Sid personally got involved and helped me out. He gave me confidence in my abilities and before he passed on he said, Amy, you were my Ace..., you were my favorite female athlete and I love you. I asked him if he was in pain and he said no and he was ready to meet the Lord. I told him he was my male role model and everything I would want a father to be and I loved him and he asked me to bend down and he kissed me on the cheek. I will never forget that or him.

Sid, you will forever be missed. I will never forget you when I am talking baseball with my therapy patients! I am sad to see we lost you, but I know you are in great hands! I sure enjoyed sharing my "bear" with you. I learned of your passing when talking baseball with big brewers fan.

Sid was a very good friend of mine. He always greeted me with a smile and of course our main topic of discussion was baseball. His positive attitude and willingness to help others be the best they could be was his desire. God Bless you all I am sorry I missed the funeral, just found out too late

Old baseball players never die, they just move on up to the big leagues. I'm sure that Sid is at the top of his game in God's Field of Dreams.

R Robin Brandel on Dec 30, 2011

He only takes the best

God saw that he was getting tired,
A cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around him
and whispered "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes "the best."

Sid you were the best!

I will remember Sid as one of my coaches in basketball and for just being a great man.
