this is a condolence for all the people who miss
Gerry, my Dad, a forever strong and steady tower.
greatly missed and loved. A knower of many subjects, but humble enough when he didn't know.
My favorite memory of my Dad was looking for Santa Claus on Christmas eve in the dark, starlit sky. It made my imagination expand, to later as an adult, to have a faith in the unseen, but always present. Until we meet again, Dad. God's peace to you

I was very sorry to find out that Jerry(The Trapper) had passed away when I tried stopping in for a beer on my way up to St. Germain Memorial Day weekend. I had been stopping there since the 1970's with family and friends. I have spent many hours hunting for grouse in the woods across from the tavern and always looked forward to stopping in for a beer after the hunt. Everytime I stopped in I learned something new and heard a story from Jerry that I had never heard before. I loved his laugh. My trips to St. Germain will never be the same. He will be truly missed. I had the opportunity to meet Jerry while traveling home from vacationing in Northern Minnesota. It was great to meet someone so un expectedly. I stopped for a beer while traveling thru and found that I was working for his brother Dave Ulrich in Oak Creek Wisconsin as a Mgr to one of his Grocery stores. Mr. Dave Ulrich was the Financial Wizard and Financier that owned Tri-City Banks, and Mega Mart Food Stores. How we touch each other as we pass in time.

I remember him and his wife when I was a kid.And in the later years I would see them when they came into the grocery store to shop and they always came to my check out lane. He was always so nice and always seemed like he was so happy to see you no matter who you were. He always had a great smile and such a hearty laugh.I am so sorry that for your loss.
