Nick & The Becker Family---
I was saddened to hear of Kirby's passing, way too young. However thinking back of him brought a smile to my face. He was certainly a character, always with that devilish smile. Though it's been probably 30 years, he will be truly missed!
Thoughts and prayers with you all.
Your friend--
Jim Zunk
Kirby, We had some fun growing up across the street from each other. Never forgot you and will always have fond memories of you. your friend, Rick Godager.
Gonna miss you Kirby :( You always knew how to
listen when I needed a friend and make me laugh!
Love you buddy...till we meet again!
We will certainly miss Kirby, but he will never be forgotten. I met Kirby the first day he moved into the McMillan Hotel. We became instant friends, bartended together, and had many laughs together.
My family and I spent some time with Kirby over the last few months. I keep expecting to hear his voice, his laugh. He will always be remembered. Luv ya Kirby.
I remember the time that Mom, Dad, Austin, Uncle Kirby, and I were sitting in the living room watching a SPCA commercial and it made me cry. So after the commercial was over I went to bed and when I said good night to Uncle Kirby he whispered in my ear, "It's ok to cry I cryed about that commercial to."
I met Kirby in Antigo when I was about 15. We used to talk about the books we'd both read. He'd also give me the what-for about some of the things that us kids got into at the McMillon Hotel. :)
I didn't get to talk to him a whole lot recently, but he always had a big smile and a "Hi Becky" whenever I saw him. It's a sad day, that's for sure.
Kirby..enjoying a fall day on Dads' deck =)
You never knew what to expect from Kirby. I remember him most from my childhood days and the entire clan getting together. He was a sweet kid and a good guy when he got older. I'll miss the cousin that I should have gotten to know even better. Love ya, cuz.
Kirby, this is you at your happiest. Enjoying a fall afternoon on the deck at Dads'. (If you look closely you'll see the book he was enjoying.) We will miss you more than any words can ever say.
Love You,
Carmen, Matt, Austin & Faith..And Blue..

It's hard to put into words how I feel. He was always one of my biggest supporters and I could talk to him about anything. It's hard to think tht we won't be calling each other just to talk anymore. Love you Brother and will forever miss you.....
I remember on thanksgiving him coming into grandma and grandpa's giving me a hug and announcing at the top of his lungs "Oh my god you have boobs" for the whole house to hear with that grin on his face and that laugh that will always stick in my mind. Or his "run" from Bigfoot at Brad's, we laughed so hard the next day. I will miss him very much, especially that laugh.
So very sorry for the loss of Kirby... I remember growing up around the Becker family in Milwaukee and Kirby always had a very high level of energy and humor. Wishing you all much love and I'll be sure to keep you in my prayers.
I only knew Kirby when he worked at Amron and didnt get to know him real well, but he always had a smile and a greeting for me and I thought he was a very nice guy...So sad that he left this world so unexpectedly and so young. Your Family is in my Prayers....
Uncle Kirby liked to play the 'Body Guard' for me. If any guy stepped foot near me, Kirby was sure to be on his other side letting him know just who my Uncle was and that if that guy treated me wrong-my Uncle would 'take care of him'. He was also really supportive of my terrible karaoke.
When I was in the 6th Grade, he came to stay with us for a while and he had this pair of Packer Boxers that he said were Lucky and that he was going to wear them when the Packer's played in Super Bowl 32. In fact, he helped me write a Poem for my English Class that year about his Lucky Packer Boxers which went on to be chosen as a poem to me read and broadcast on our High School Television Network, Channel 2. Although I no longer have the copy of the poem I do remember a few pieces of it-which he helped me write.
'My Lucky Packer Boxers fill me with lots of Pride, My Lucky Packer Boxers keep me warm when it's cold outside.'
'The Packers have been winning and again this they'll do if I wear My Lucky Packer Boxers for Super Bowl 32.'
Kirby was one of my best friends at John Burroughs Jr High. We had great talks and lots of fun. Many good memories of us with Dawn Clark. I have thought about him many times over the years and it always made me smile. Miss you. Holly Farmer Magrady
Kirby never complained about what he had or didn't have. As long as he had a place to sleep and a book to read he was okay. His many friends were also his family. They watched over him when we weren't there. Mom always had a soft spot for Kirby and now he is by her side. I'll miss the grin on his face, his smart comments and most of all just knowing he is there. I love you always, Kirby. Sis

Uncle Kirby meeting Cayden for the first time at Aimee's wedding
I met Kirby as a youngster in Milwaukee. Just struck me as a cool guy....and down to earth as he got older. Take care Kirby.
This is the way I will remember you Kirby, sitting back, taking it all in. Always ready with a story, joke or good nature ribbing. You will be missed - Lisa
