Justin Jay DeHart, age 39, of Wausau, died unexpectedly on February 11, 2024 at his home. He was born on December 19, 1984 in Wausau, the son of Melanie (Thomas) Richards of Deerbrook and Curtis DeHart of White Hall, Arkansas.
Justin was a graduate of Antigo High School. He worked at Grifols Plasma in Menasha, in 2021 he moved to Wausau and was employed as a Center Supervisor at BioLife Plasma Services.
He had a deep love for fishing. Justin also enjoyed thrift shopping on Saturdays, cooking, magnet fishing, and 4-wheeling. He had a MacGyver-like talent for making something out of nothing. He touched many lives, and to know Justin was to love him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Amanda Honzik of Neenah and Desiree DeHart of Little Chute; his nephew, Kaden Honzik; his fiancée, Nicole Weyer of Wausau and her children, Chase and Zoe; and his two amigos, Jason DeRuyter and Jeff Sickinger. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jewett and Beverly DeHart and maternal grandparents, Melvin and Kathleen DeRuyter.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, at 1 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Pyeatt officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at a later date at the Bent Cemetery, Bryant.
For those who are unable to attend in person, Justin's service will be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/@bradleyfuneralhome

Justin's affable, kind, and relentlessly upbeat personality will be sorely missed by all of us who were lucky enough to know him. I will always remember the sound of his laugh, his cheesy jokes, and his willingness to do anything for a friend in need. Rest easy, JD.
