Carl J. Bula, of Antigo, died on December 27, 2023 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 58 years old. He was born on June 30, 1965 in Antigo, a son of Phyllis (Hoerman) Bula of Antigo and the late Donald Bula.
He was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1983.
Carl was an entrepreneur having owned many businesses including Neon Unlimited, Antigo Sign and Awning, Lucky Shuttle, Bula Enterprise, and Antigo Property Services. He was also a realtor, and owned a pizza restaurant and two furniture stores. Carl was a crew member for many Champion Short Coarse Off Road Racing teams. He was proud to have worked with Menzies Motor Sports, Tyree Motor Sports, Stronghold Motor Sports, and Adrian Cenni Motor Sports. Carl will be remembered for his passion of being a hard worker. His favorite saying was "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean".
In addition to his mother, survivors include his fiancée of 30 years, Nancy Stimac of Antigo; a daughter, Nicole Pavek of Menasha; a grandson, Parker; three sisters, Carol Trelstad of Colorado Springs, CO, Chris Roeseler of Antigo, and Tammy (Tony) Pavek of Bryant; three brothers, Michael (Leah) Bula of Plover, Paul (Jayne) Bula of Antigo, and Kenneth (Jennifer) Bula of Fremont; a sister-in-law, Jennifer (Mike) Easker of Antigo; five brothers-in-law, Robert (Kelly) Stimac Jr. of Antigo, William (Rebecca) Stimac of Antigo, Frank (Pam) Stimac of Wausau, Todd (Katie) Stimac of Sun Prairie, and Jess (Ashley) Stimac of Antigo; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Bula.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. David Karolus officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to establish a fund in the future.

Oh Nancy I'm so very sorry in your huge loss. Prayers that you find some comfort
Carl was one of the first friends I made when moving to Antigo in 1977. We were great friends through those early years and through high school. We lost touch after school, but always had a good conversation whenever we ran in to each other over the years. Always such a good guy with a great attitude. My sympathy to Nancy and all of Carl’s extended family. He will be missed by many.
