Helen Brandow, of Pelican Lake, died on December 26, 2023 at the age of 90. She was born on September 1, 1933 in Chicago, IL.
Survivors include a son, Jim Mews; grandson, Derek Mews; and great-grandchildren, Aiden and Ashlynn Mews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Elmer Djerf; husband, Darwin Brandow; and a son, Jay Mews.

Helen was loved by many. She was a member of the pelican Lake Women's Club and past president.
Involved in many other community organizations. I was very fortunate to have her as a friend. Gladys Miller
