Barbara C. Littlefield, of Antigo, passed away on December 4, 2023 at The Bay at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 80 years old. She was born on February 26, 1943 in Rhinelander, a daughter of Charles Day and Stella (Bratton) Gehr.
Barbara stayed home to raise her five children for the majority of her life. When her nest was empty she became a certified nursing assistant and worked for The Bay of Eastview for over 20 years. She also volunteered at C.A.R. Thrift Shop for many years.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren, and baking a cake on every occasion she could find a reason. She also enjoyed making costumes to wear for holidays and wearing them to work for all the residents to see.
Survivors include three daughters, Karen (Randy) Lewis, Peggy (Gregory) Swan, and Robin Dake, all of Antigo; two sons, Tim Brenwall and Earl Littlefield Jr., both of Antigo; seven sisters, Audrey (James) Shepherd of Rhinelander, Janet Piasecki of Rhinelander, Linda Knight of Eudora, AR, Mary (Mike) Hollands of Rhinelander, Candace Day of Rhinelander, Cheryl (Roger) Mengel of Antigo, Laurie (Don) Rasmussen of Antigo; a brother, Tom Day of Antigo; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Christjohn, Amanda Jacobson, Stephanie Swan, Tanya Jacobson, Philip Swan, Kasey Littlefield, Kim Swan, Matthew Lewis, and Hailey Lewis; 20 great-grandchildren; close friend, Betty Lewis of Sparta; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Carissa Brenwall; sister, Patricia Thiel; brothers, William (Renee) Nance and Eugene Day; and former husbands, Oliver Brenwall and Earl Littlefield, Sr.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7 at 1 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras officiating.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
