I worked with Laura at Elcho School. We didn’t see each other daily as I was in the high school end, but every time I did see her it was always pleasant to visit with her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I am so saddened to learn she passed. I live in Idaho now but kept in touch with her through FB. Heaven definitely gained an angel. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
I remember Laura as a little girl when I was in 4-H with her sisters and mom. So sorry for your loss.

What a wonderful teacher and even more human being. She always put others needs first especially her students. She helped Holden so much during his struggle with cancer and trying to catch up with his studies when he was doing online school from home. She always put his needs first! An angel Heaven has gotten for sure! She will be greatly missed!😢🙏❤️

Laura was an amazing teacher and person. She was loved by so many. My family was lucky and blessed to have her teach both of my children, Mackenzie and Carter. She will truly be missed. She is no longer suffering and can rest in peace. Prayers and thoughts go out to all of her family.
Thank you Mrs. Doucette for teaching my Lilly her address and phone number to a T. The structure of your classroom taught me so much as a parent. You had such a beautiful way with children. Strict to get things done , but so much compassion for the child it’s self. Rest in peace beautiful soul💕💗💓🌸🩷
