"Bear" Gregory Campbell, of White Lake, died on August 15, 2023 at Theda Care Medical Center in Appleton surrounded by his family. He was 74 years old. He was born on July 20, 1949 in Antigo, a son of the late William Campbell and Devota (Harrington) Kramer.

Bear attended Antigo High School. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps.

He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. Bear volunteered for the Langlade County Search and Rescue.

Survivors include six children, William (Karen) Campbell of Crandon, Pamela Hammond of Mosinee, Della Roberson of Oshkosh, Lacey Campbell of Antigo, Kimberly Campbell of White Lake and Alexis (Jake) Adamski of Wausau.

He was a loving and proud papa to 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by five sisters, Linda Taylor of California, Beverly Kloes of Hatley, Terry Johnson of Antigo, Karen (Kurt) Meverden of Weston, and Pat (Ronald) Cracraft of Argonne; and friend, Debbie Domke.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Mike Fonder; and three brothers-in-law, Marty Taylor, Tom Kloes and Marc Johnson.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
