Christopher Alan Brown, age 41, of Antigo, died on July 10, 2023, at his home. He was born on October 13, 1981, in Milwaukee, a son of Lynda Brown of Milwaukee and the late Joel Brown.
He married Cassandra Sinkler on September 24, 2011, in Waukesha.
Chris was employed at Brace Masters Orthotics in Milwaukee for many years. He liked BMX bikes, collecting bottle caps, camping, and grilling. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed playing with legos, drawing, and painting with his daughter, Ashlyn. He will be remembered for his kind heart.
He moved to Antigo in 2022.
Survivors include his wife, Cassandra; daughter, Ashlyn; mother, Lynda; brother, Justin (Kelly) Brown; sister, Melissa (Patrick) McNeil; father-in-law, Joseph J. Sinkler; sister and brothers-in-law, Christina (Jeremy) Roberts, Nicholas (Sarah) Sinkler, Gary (Anne) Sinkler, Joseph R. (Alissa) Sinkler; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joel, and mother-in-law, Charlotte Sinkler.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. David Karolus officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at the Queen of Peace Cemetery.

I was so sad to hear this. Chris was like one of my own kids when he was young.
Chris was a big part of my early childhood memories. I grew up about a block away from where he lived. We moved into the neighborhood when I was 7 years old and I quickly made friends with Chris and his little brother Justin. Lynda would let me over like I was one of her kids. Or at least that’s how I felt. I had sleep overs with Chris and we played with Micro Machines and Muscle Men toys all over the neighborhood. We started watching martial arts films together. Especially anything with Jean Claude Van Damme. We were self taught martial arts experts and would have tournaments in his backyard. I helped set up a haunted house in his basement for the other neighborhood kids to enter. We typically teamed up on Halloween as ninjas or whatever we were into that particular year. He and I had so much fun romping around the neighborhood. It was at Chris’s house on his front porch where I first got punched in the gut by another kid. I have so many fond childhood memories of shenanigans related to the Brown family. Chris, I love you and miss you and I’m sorry to hear of your death. It’s my sincerest prayer that God would give your wife and your child peace that transcends understanding and Gid I pray that you would comfort all of Chris’ loved ones. Please provide for all their needs and show your love and mercy to them for the rest of their life. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
