Our beloved, Holly J. Marquardt, age 31, battled with mental health most of her life. She took her own life on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
Holly was born on November 18, 1991 in Green Bay, a daughter of Allen and Susan (Johnson) Marquardt of Pembine.
She was a graduate of Fox Valley Lutheran High School. Holly was a substance abuse counselor for a number of years before moving to Antigo and working at the Antigo Daily Journal.
She loved animals, especially, Gizmo, her dog. Holly was musically talented and played guitar. She enjoyed helping people, was a gentle soul, but had a quirky and fun sense of humor.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Justin Marquardt of Appleton; grandfather, Al Johnson of Racine; grandmother, Patricia Marquardt of Marinette; and special friend, Travis. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Karen Johnson; and grandfather, Jerry Marquardt.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
We will miss our Dear Holly and look forward to one day reuniting in Heaven with her.
Thank you for the life we shared. May you find eternal Peace.
Always, Mom & Dad
