Dick was a good friend. Over the last 10 years we would stop at each others houses and have quick chats. I was so sad to see his obituary. Our prayers and condolences for his family.

I am really sorry to get this news about Dick.

Dick was my bestie pal in high school, we were two farm boys with hot rods, straight shooting que sticks, and lightning fast reflexes on the foosball table.

We used to strip cars in preparation for the demo derby and have donut contests. We'd get going about 60 in the field and see how many donuts we could spin or how long we could keep it up on 2 wheels!

Dick, Dave and myself all went to Dallas together to work on a construction crew burying telephone cable where we promptly cut the governor off when we accidentally sliced through one of the larger cables. Ooops! We thought it was pretty funny but our boss wasnt too happy!

While we were there we all watched the Packers kick the pants off of Dallas in the Ice Bowl, a game that was dubbed the coldest and one of the best games in NFL history, it was like -10 with a wind chill of -40. Vince Lombardi was the coach and Bart Starr the QB.

We had a 1/2 barrel set up in the rec area by the pool. There was only the 3 of us rooting for the Packers in the midst of somewhere between 50-75 drunk and very unhappy Texans, so we thought the better part of vallar would be to zip-it and slowly ease our way out of there!

I wish I could make it to Antigo to see everyone and share these and many more stories in person and hear yours but I just got out of surgery and Im in no condition to travel.

So I hope everyone will join me both in prayer and also drink a toast to my best friend Dick in thanks for the friendship, the laughs, the good times, and great memories!

My deepest condolences to everyone for your loss,

Gene Frisch
