Audrey Bauer, formerly of Pickerel, died Friday, October 7, 2011 in Atkinson, Nebraska. She was 85 years old. She was born on July 9, 1926 in Hollister, a daughter of Lawrence and Lillian Ehlinger. She married Carl Bauer on April 26, 1952 in Suring. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1993.

She is a graduate of White Lake School class of 1944 and served in the United States Air Force.
She lived in Niles, Illinois until retirement when she moved to Pickerel.

Survivors include daughter Lou Ann (Allen) Tooker, Atkinson, Nebraska; a son John Bauer (Cari Damiani) McHenry, IL; a half Brother Larry (Carol) Ehlinger of Green Bay.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery .
