Evelyn Heinrich, of Antigo, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at her home. She was 94 years old. She was born on April 20, 1917 in the Town of Polar, a daughter of Herman and Sophia (Schmeisser) Krueger. She married Eldo Heinrich on October 17, 1942 at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1986.

Her husbands employment moved the family to several communities in Wisconsin before their return to Antigo in 1976.

She was a devoted member of Peace Lutheran Church, the Dorcas Society, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Altar Guild.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting and solving word search puzzles.

Survivors include two daughters Susan Heinrich, Antigo, Jean Heinrich, New York, NY.; two sisters-in-law Charlotte Heinrich and Florence Schumitsch, both of Antigo; many nieces and nephews and special friend Loraine Hunter.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by four sisters Hazel Mikkelson, Helen Smola, Jean Patrick, Violet O'Brien, five brothers Harold, Norman, Delmer, Donald and Harvey Krueger.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott Kruse officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church.

Services
