Edward "Pops" "TEddy Bear" Pospichal, of Antigo, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at his home. He was 76 years old. He was born on April 16, 1945, in Antigo, a son of Aloyious and Inez (Smith) Pospichal.
He served in the United States military. Ed worked in construction for many years. In 2017 he returned to Antigo where he worked at Goodwill until retirement.
He loved fishing and being outdoors. For years he was Santa Clause to many children.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Jo (Steven) Hansen of Illinois; a son, Eric Pospichal of Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Pospichal of Antigo, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Scott Pospichal; a grandson; his parents; brothers, Peter, Melvin, Karel, and Frederick; and sisters, Patricia Mish and Helen Pospichal.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Peaceful Valley Park, 420 Field St., Antigo, WI 54409.

I Remember meeting you out at Grandpa's when I was 16 yrs. then again when your brother Peter past away you where so kind to me, telling me all will be ok now. Saw you at goodwill a few times you where working but still had a few minutes to chat. one day we will meet again.
