Joe Dobson, of Antigo, died Sunday, May 8, 2011. He was 44 years old. He was born on November 2, 1966 in Phoenix, AZ a son of Joseph Dobson of Phoenix, AZ and Shirley (Halama) Dobson of Antigo.
He served in the United States Army from May 24, 1985 to May 23, 1989.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two daughters, Erika (Damion) Ashford, Milwaukee and Marissa Dobson, Red Bank, NJ; a son, Joseph Dobson, Red Bank, NJ; three grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia Dobson, Antigo, Deborah Rhodes, Antigo and Theresa (Kevin) Vansant, Appleton; and a brother, Julian (Kim) Garcia, Phoenix, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Tapia.
A private service will be held. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Joe and Tracy have been friends since they were 8 years old. Joe lived with our family for a year and he was the best house guest ever. I was always amazed at his political history knowledge and he was so kind to both me and our 9 year old daughter Gigi. We are all very sad and will miss Joe very much. xoxoxox Tracy Lisa & Gianna
