Melinda and I went all through school together. It would be safe to say I've known her my entire life. Years ago I would order "special occasion" cakes from her. Her cakes were not only beautiful but delicious. She was an accomplished baker. It will seem strange not to see her out and about in our community.
She has been in my mind, heart and prayers along with her family xxoo
I have volunteered for the Brush Run for 17 years, I live in Holmen, WI, but have relatives that have a cabin on Lake Mentonga. Every Labor Day weekend we would come in the office and see her there and at the track. Her lovely smile warmed the room, and I have that great memory of her beautiful smile to hold on to. My sympathy to all of the family members, she was a wonderful women!! And I'm glad our paths crossed!! God Bless you all!! Linda Calkins

Was sad to hear the news. She was a kind lady with a beautiful smile. She will be missed in our community but God has another angel.
We all lost a wonderful soul! But the memories we hold close will remain forever. Most of you might not know but she and I shared a radio talk show :) the Meg n Mel show it was on air for a short time as Skip was our only guest. She’s the reason work was so fun! We’ll always try to make sushi Wednesday’s happen. Don’t send Lily’s she’s allergic. ❤️ For the short time I was able to spend with her left a lasting impression. Missing you forever now 😞 shit man (in my best Melinda voice)
