Some of my best memories from school included Ellen. Her absolutely beautiful personality and sense of humor made my day many times. Throughout our adult years, we stay in touch and she was there for me though one of the roughest points in life. She will be greatly missed rest beautifully my pickle (we had nick names) until I see you again!

I was so sorry to learn of Ellen's passing. Knowing the Babcock family as well as I do, the hurt you are currently enduring must be nearly unbearable. My heart aches for you. I also know how tough and resilient you folks are and that gives me reassurance that you will emerge from this ordeal stronger, wiser, and with even greater compassion for others. With special thoughts for you all...Arn Chamberlain

My heart aches to know Ellen has passed on. She was one of the kindest souls I've ever met on earth. I was really struggling my first year at the Illinois institute of art and couldn't afford many of the high priced books. I also wasn't very good at talking to people and had very few friends after moving from Ohio. Ellen was nice enough to give me a few books for classes she'd already taken and always put a smile on my face!! I will miss her dearly!!!
