Carnan Simon, of Antigo, died Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 66 years old. She was born on February 11, 1953, in Antigo, a daughter of the late Carl and Edith (Walker) Simon.
She graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1972. Carnan was married to Walter Olsen and the couple later divorced. She worked at Northern Wire in Merrill, in the press department, East Bay in Wausau and later at Country Kitchen in Antigo as a dishwasher.
She was a loving mother and enjoyed reading.
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie (Ryan) Bieneck of Greenwood; a son, Matthew Olsen of Weston; three grandchildren, Addy, Riley and Ava Bieneck; a sister, Alice (Joe) Zuelsdorff of Merrill; three brothers, Donald (Rita) Simon of Antigo, Jerome Simon of South Dakota and Kenneth (Karen) Simon of South Dakota; two sisters-in-law, Kay Simon of La Crosse, and Beverly (Raymond) (Simon) Bostwick of Bryant.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Conrad, Roger, and Ronald Simon; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Simon and Audrey Simon; and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Nelson.
A private family funeral will take place with burial at the Town of Summit Cemetery.
