You have my deepest condolences in your loss of Les. Even though he lived an adventurous life, death always comes too soon, it is truly our enemy. Our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah will bring a resurrection soon as promised in the Bible Book of Revelation in chapter 21 verses 3 and 4.

Les was a wonderful friend to me and my family. We had great fun playing basketball together while he lived in Oregon during the late 1970s. Though I haven’t seen him for many years, I often think fondly of Les. He will be sorely missed by my wife (Beckie) and me.

I have three men in my life that are closer than brothers. Men I could share all the struggles and joys of life. I now have two. Les – you were always encouraging, always praying, always ready to share a word from the Word, and always making me smile and laugh. Your sharp wit was a joy and your awful homemade jokes a blessing. You frequently told me that “you can trust the Lord.” We said this to each other so much that it became a kind of a farewell to our visits. Well, you were greatly tested with trusting the Lord in your last months with us, more than I can really know. I am so relieved that you are no longer suffering and now at peace, rest and have unspeakable joy in the presence of Jesus. I already miss you my friend and boy, do I look forward to seeing you again.

I have lost a great friend here, but I look forward to seeing him in heaven where we'll continue our 'back in the olden days' tales and I can groan at his corny jokes once again. Love you Les.

Dear Clark Family, you do not know me, but I have been praying for you and Les. Les has now been welcomed into the arms of His Savior, Jesus, where he is now free of pain and suffering. I now pray for you, that the Lord will comfort and strengthen you, and give you His peace as you mourn the loss of Les. --2 Timothy 4:7-8--
