George Kurth Sr., of Jennings, died Thursday, July 19, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident. He was 65 years old. He was born on September 19, 1952, in Milwaukee, a son of Julian and Olga (Kinart) Kurth.
He was a graduate of Pulaski High School in Milwaukee and was employed by Cecil Construction for a number of years. George was a member of Labor Union Local 113, Milwaukee.
In 1983 he moved to Jennings. For the past 25 years he was employed at the Mole Lake Casino.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, George (Brenda) Kurth II of Rhinelander, Eric Kurth and Tricia of Sugar Camp; two daughters, April (Nathan) King of West Allis, Amanda (Dan) Scheppele of Three Lakes; his longtime love, Lori Haberli of Jennings; 10 grandchildren, Gidian & Teagan, Jocelyn & Katelyn, Kyra & Zoey, Evan, Levi, Lily, and Aydan;
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sheri Huntington.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.

You have my deepest condolences for your loss of George. Death is truly an enemy and when it comes so suddenly and tragically it is a shock. Our loving heavenly father Jehovah knows the pain we feel and will comfort us as promised in the Bible book of Revelation in chapter 21 and verses 3and 4.

Ome of the best men i knew he was a great god father i havent spoke to him in many years but the memories i have are all great and uncle george that .22 u gave me for my 16thbirthday has been handed down to my boys RIP and tell my old man i said hi and i love and miss him

I always enjoyed working with George at Mole Lake, he funny and a very kind Man...when I think of George I see him in that red flannel shirt and a smirk on his face. My condolences for his family & friends...RIP George
