Margaret Kolerus, of Antigo, died Monday, July 2, 2018, at home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and Hands With Heart. She was 94 years old. She was born on June 16, 1924, in Antigo, a daughter of George and Helen (Hittle) Kolerus.

She attended St. John grade school and graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1949.

Miss Kolerus worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Company factory for several years followed by working in the office of the Vulcan Corporation in Antigo. She enjoyed a 32 year career at Wausau Insurance working as supervisor in the accounts receivable department. She retired in 1984.

Margaret stayed active in retirement delivering Meals on Wheels, volunteering with the American Red Cross and Langlade Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, playing volleyball, golf and hiking the Ice Age trails.

Margaret was a member of SS. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church, its rosary society and served as a trustee and parish council member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a member of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters, Wausau Insurance Retired People, and their Quarter Century club.

Survivors include two cousins, Rosemary R Hanus, Antigo, Barbara (Jerry) Guenthner, Pickerel.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 6, 2018, at 10 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Zach Weber officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the time of services on Friday at the church. The Rosary Society will recite the rosary at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
