Omar Ingram, of Antigo, died Monday, January 24, 2011 at home under the care of his children and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 85 years old. He was born on March 17, 1924 in Elton, a son of Ernest Tim and Maude (Atkins) Ingram. He married Betty Owen on August 9, 1947 in Lily. She preceded him in death on July 2, 2008.

Mr. Ingram was employed at Kraft Foods in Antigo from 1956-1986. He was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, trapping and placing a friendly wager-especially with his grandsons.

Survivors include five sons, Bernard (Judy) Ingram, Goodman, Mike (Sharon) Ingram, Mosinee, Bill Ingram, Antigo, Jerry Ingram, Wausau and John (Linda) Ingram, Antigo; four daughters, Judi Ingram, Antigo, Kathy (Dennis) Viergutz, Minocqua, Tammy (Tyler) Albertson, Shawano and Brenda (Kurt) Berndt, Rhinelander; eleven grandchildren, Jason (Karen), Autumn (Jeremy), Angel (Scott), Ashley (Steve), Brittney, Heather, Travis, Tyler Jr., Tia, Miranda and Nathanial; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Connor, Logan, Lucas, Amadeus and Cadence; three sisters Jessie (Curtis) Messer, Antigo, Kenosha, Mary Ellen Mir DeHart, Oshkosh and Violet Bidge Atter, Kenosha; and a brother, Lawrence Ingram, Antigo.

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a son, Jack Ingram on Jan. 24, 1993; a great-granddaughter Amber; and five brothers, Kenneth, Hubert, Virgil, Clyde and Lloyd.

Services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Cheryl Rowe officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:30-7 p.m. and Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home.
