Marjorie Elst, longtime White Lake resident, died Friday, January 7, 2011 in Antigo under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 79 years old. She was born on July 26, 1931 in Shawano, a daughter of James and Eileen (Alft) Bordeau. She married Lester Elst on November 25, 1954 at St. James Catholic Church in White Lake. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1991.
She was a graduate of White Lake High School.
She raised her family in White Lake and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
She was a member of St. James and Stanilaus Catholic Church in White Lake and St. Zita's society.
Survivors include a daughter Mary (Ray) Maisonneuve, Green Bay; six sons Paul Elst, Green Bay, Thomas (Deborah) Elst, Antigo, Jeffery Elst and fiance'e Diane McDermott, Kenosha, Richard Elst and fiance'e Candy Spurgeon, Antigo, James (Linda) Elst, Antigo, Frederick (Colleen) Elst, Antigo; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Jerome Elst and a brother John Bordeau.
Family graveside services will be held in the spring.
