Leone Laehn, of Antigo, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 93 years old. She was born on August 10, 1917 in Antigo, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Hubatch) Fischer. She married Paul Laehn on July 20, 1940 in Antigo. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1986.

Mrs. Laehn worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory for fifteen years, and worked as a crossing guard and meter maid for the city of Antigo and later worked at Langlade Laundry for 10 years retiring in 1986.

She enjoyed baking, traveling with the Boettchers, knitting, crocheting and working in her flowers.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Michael) Rammer, Oshkosh; two grandchildren, Tammie (Gary) Borgardt, Oshkosh and Scott Rammer, Oshkosh; two great grandchildren, Christopher and Brian Sheridan; a sister, Gladys Boettcher, Antigo and a brother, Donald (Olive) Fischer, Surprise, AZ.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Emerich and Rose Geiger and two brothers Frank and George Fischer.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Kathy Rust officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12 - 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
