Marie Narloch, of Antigo, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 84 years old. She was born on February 1, 1926 in Antigo a daughter of the late Adolph and Emma (Lazansky) Blahnik. She married Richard Narloch in January of 1966 in Antigo. He preceded her in death.

She was a 1944 graduate of Antigo High School. For over 20 years she was an administrative assistant for the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

Mrs. Narloch was involved in organizing and participating in many functions to benefit those suffering from Parkinson's disease. She enjoyed square dancing, golfing, quilting and being involved in church activities.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Irma Blahnik, Deerbrook, Marion Blahnik, Antigo and Gladys Blahnik, Rhinelander; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by six brothers, Edward, Alfred, Melvin, Daniel, Adolph Jr., and Milas; and three sisters, Sylvia Blahnik, Irene Dufek and Mable Totzke.

A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Wencel Catholic Church, Neva. Visitation will be 9 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the National Parkinson Foundation.
