Dorothy I. Kolpack, of Milwaukee, died Sunday, June 6, at Ruth Hospice. She was 92 years old. She was born on May 1, 1918 in Kenton, Ohio a daughter of the late Squire and Rhodabelle (Oliver) Shepherd. She married Erwin Kolpack in 1951 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1958.
She was a graduate of White Lake High School and attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis. After graduating college she moved to Milwaukee where she met her husband and became employed at Allis-Chalmers. She worked there until her retirement.
She enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Survivors include a sister, Leola (William) Hickson, Wausau; three sisters-in-law, Florence, Alice and Kathy Shepherd all of Antigo; a brother-in-law, Bernard Drexler, Antigo; special nephews, Merrill and Jonathan Hickson; a special friend, Frank Kruzela, Milwaukee; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by an infant son, James; a sister, Viola Drexler and three brothers, Linvol, Henry and Kenneth Shepherd.
A funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will take place in Langlade Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the Bradley Funeral Home.
