Theresa Terri Bushy, of Antigo, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 69 years old. She was born on October 5, 1940 in Milwaukee to Chester and Marie (Schmidling) Polak.
She married Glenn Bushy August 26, 1958 in Milwaukee, he survives. She moved to Antigo in 1969 and worked as a waitress at Leffels Supper Club and Cutlas Motor Lodge. She worked seasonally at James Spychalla's potato farms, later worked at Amron Corp. and most recently at Langlade Hospital. She enjoyed crochetting, bowling, traveling to Florida and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors including her husband are three daughters; Laura (Dan) Breckheimer Appleton, Linda (Philip) Arrowood Antigo, Janet (Ben) Clark Antigo; two sons James (Donna) Bushy Shawano, Mike (Julie) Bushy Antigo; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two brothers Ronald (Judy) Palok Shawano, Larry Polak of Shawano; a sister Shirley Krahn Milwaukee; and her dog Mikey.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Bushy, a daughter, Brenda Wensel, her parents, two brothers, Gerald Polak and Gene Palok.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at Bradley Funeral with Rev. Worman officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
