Mildred Millie Hubatch, of Antigo, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at her home in the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 91 years old. She was born on March 16, 1918 in Antigo to the late Fred and Katie (Schedlbauer) Knott. She married Chris Hubatch on July 2, 1939 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. He survives. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary July 2, 2009.
She is a graduate of St. John Grade School and Antigo High School with the class of 1937.
She was a life long member of St. John Catholic Church. She and her husband worked with the funeral dinner committee for many years.
She had been employed at the Antigo Bakery and Weinbrenner Shoe Factory. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Rolling for many years.
She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, dancing and playing cards.
Survivors include two daughters Patricia Wright and Kathleen (Greg) Rusch, both of Antigo; a son Richard (Pat) Hubatch, Shawano; three grandchildren David Hubatch, Scott (Lori) Wright, Brian ( fiancée Whitney Turner) Rusch; a great grandson Christopher McGuire; two nieces Donna (Dennis) Bishop and Beverly (James) Kerker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Herbert (Ann) Knott, two daughters; an infant Mary Jane Hubatch and Margaret Ann Hubatch.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. A visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to LeRoyer Hospice.
