Lorraine A. Smith, of Antigo, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 81 years old. She was born on February 19, 1928 in Antigo, to Bert and Lila Jean (Radtke) Mikelson. She married Harvey Smith on April 7, 1945. He survives.

Mrs. Smith was a devoted housewife, mother, musician and historian.

In addition to her husband survivors include two daughters Jeanette Theisen and Judy (Cliff) Knudsen; a son Jerry (Kim) Smith; 9 grandchildren Ron, Doug, Don (Carrie), Tina and Jeremy Theisen, Marty (Debra) and Toby (Kelly) Franzen, Lee J. and Lisa Smith; 8 great grandchildren and two brothers Clyde and Art Mikelson.

Private burial services will be held at a later date. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
