Richard Paff, of Antigo, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at his home in the Town of Ackley. He was 48 years old. He was born on May 24, 1961 in Antigo to the late Everett P. and Vera M. (Smith) Paff.

A life long resident of the Town of Ackley, he attended Antigo High School. He enjoyed working for area farmers and participated in the Developementally Disabled Program at the Langlade County Health Care Center. He enjoyed collecting tractors, bowling, polka music, and Friday night fish frys.

Survivors include his, four sisters: Susan (David) Matuszewski, Antigo, Theresa (Gene) Lettau, Wittenberg, Bonnie (Joe) Fleischman, Antigo, Ruby (Greg) Keen, Aniwa, four brothers: Russell Paff, Antigo, Robert Paff, Eau Claire, Rodney (Debra) Paff, Antigo, Ronnie Lee Paff, Wausau, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Tammy Matz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Omer Kelley officiating. Burial will take place in the Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the Bradley Funeral Home.
