Debra Eschner, of Deerbrook, died Monday, May 11, 2009 at home with her husband at her side. She was 51 years old. She was born on February 26, 1958 in Milwaukee, to Carl and Rosemary (Stima) Grulkowski. She married William H. Eschner on June 29, 1979 in Milwaukee. He survives.
Mrs Eschner was an active proclaimer of the Good News of God's Kingdom with the Antigo Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 20 years. She moved to Antigo in 1984 and was employed at Burger King for 15 years.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include six sisters, Catherine (Robert) VanCalster, Green Bay, Bonnie (Henry) Stegall, Chicago, Ill, Jeanette (Jeff) Bandura, Joliet, Ill, Jackie (Steven) Mkrtschjan, Chicago, Ill, Terrie (Gene) Miller, Paxton, Ill, Phyllis (Alan) Claypool, Chicago, Ill, two brothers, Jerome Grulkowski, Oconto Falls, Dennis (Rose) Grulkowski, Kewanee.
She was preceded in death by one brother Michael.
Services will be held on Sunday May 17, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 710 Center Street in Antigo. A family gathering will follow at the Ackley town hall.
