Linda Susie Malitz, of Pearson, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at home surrounded by her family. She was 59 years old. She was born on March 8, 1950 in Antigo, to James Howard and Thelma (Erwin) Frazier. She married Bruce Malitz on May 26, 1979 at Iron Mountian, MI. He survives.

She graduated from Antigo High School in 1968, and graduated with honors from Nicolet Technical College with an associates degree in nursing. Mrs. Malitz worked as a registered nurse at Aspirus Wausau Hospital cardiac care for 10 years, and at Langlade Hospital for eight years in intensive care. She was a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician for the Pickerel-Pearson rescue squad, and member of Four Corners Assembly of God Church, White Lake.

Survivors include her husband Bruce a daughter, Dana (Keith) Alft-Zahorik, Reedsville, two sons, Jeff (Gail) Alft, Pearson, Bruce Malitz Jr., Pearson, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, her mother, Thelma Frazier, Lily, a sisters, Phyllis Bunny (Gary) Baird, Crosby, Texas, three brothers, David (Becky) Frazier, Pearson, Dan (Patty) Frazier, Lily, Curt (Phoebe) Frazier, Columbus, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her father James Howard, the father of her first two children David Alft, and twin brothers in infancy.

Services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Four Corners Assembly of God, White Lake with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will take place in Lily Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at the Bradley Funeral Home from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. In honor of Mrs. Malitz's nursing career a Florence Nightingale candle lighting ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
