Raeburn Meeks, of Peshtigo, died Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Rennes Health Center in Peshtigo. She was 85 years old. She was born June 19, 1923 in Antigo, to Raymond and Wilhelmina (Nolte) Reynolds and married Corbett Meeks on May 7, 1940 in Elton. He preceded in death on September 30, 1997.

She graduated from Antigo High School in 1941.

Mrs. Meeks raised her family while living in Isabella, MN, from 1952 to 1978 when they moved to Montanna. She and her husband retired to California in 1983. Following her husbands death she moved to Marinette.

Survivors include four daughters, Darlene (Duane) Enders, Hortonville, Beverly (Bill) Gilbert, King George, VA, Kristine (Randy) Belling, Marinette, Tammy (Tim) Hansen, New Auburn, eight sons, Corby (Karen) Meeks, Greenville, Thomas (Patti) Meeks, Toledo, OH, Jerald (Holly) Meeks, Freeport, TX, Sam (Pam) Meeks, Porterville, CA, Arthur (Becky) Meeks, Blue Mounds, Randy (Anissa) Meeks, Houston, MN, Lowell (Joyce) Meeks, Peshtigo, Faron (Melonie) Meeks, King Geroge, VA, 61 grandchildren, 114 great grandchildren, and 22 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Corbett, two daughters Sharon Ernest and Marlea Meeks, two sons Charles and James Meeks, one granddaughter Kim Palazzo, two grandsons Corby Ray Meeks, and Brock Ernest, two great grandsons Adam Roberts and J.T. Weeks, her twin brother Raymond Reynolds and five sisters Millie, Vivian, Sylvia, Edith, and Flosie.

Services will be held on Friday March 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Strong officiating. Burial will take place in Lily Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m..
