Eugene G. Wurzer, of Elton, WI, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Langlade Hospital in the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice.. He was 82years old

He was born July 9, 1926 in Elton son of the late John and Emma Juetten Wurzer.
He married Carol Brouillard on June 23, 1951 at St. James Catholic Church, White Lake She survives

He worked as a Truck Driver for 38 years. He lived and worked in Milwaukee, Appleton, and retired Elton 1986.
He served in the United States Navy during WWll.
He enjoyed flying , had a private pilot license and at one time owned his own plane.

He was a member of St. James and St. Stanilaus Catholic Congregation of White Lake and Langalde, Anderson-Sather American Legion Post 524 of White Lake. He was a member of the Teamsters Union for many years..

Surviving are his wife, Carol and daughter, June (Mike) Kolosso Appleton; 4 sons, Eugene (Kathy) Wurzer, Jr. Combined Locks, Joseph (Sue) Wurzer Kimberly, Frederick (Jill) Wurzer Appleton, Peter Wurzer Bloomer; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, John (Frances) Wurzer Antigo, Edward (Virginia) Wurzer Appleton; 3 sisters, Marjorie Bricco Waukesha, Mary Maurer Cleveland, TN, Theresa (Robert) Schmidt, Melbourne, FL; brother-in-law, Al (Nancy) Brouillard Little Chute; two sisters-in-law,Shirley Wurzer Waukesha and Patricia Shannon White Lake.

He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers Henry and Cyril Wurzer and a sister Vera (Don) Eschenbauch, four brothers-in-law Leonard Bricco, Eugene Maurer, Jim Brouillard and Jim Shannon Memorial Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church, White Lake, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Paul Koszarek officiating.
Military Honors will be conducted at church following services by the White Lake American Legion Post.
Interment be in the spirng at St. Joseph Cemetery-Elton, Elton, WI.
Visitation will be Saturday, from 9:30 to 11 am at church .
