Mark Allan Taylor, 38, of Kenosha, WI passed away on Monday December 29, 2008 at the North Chicago VA Medical Center, North Chicago, IL.

He was born on May 18, 1970 in Kenosha, WI to Ralph Taylor and Charlene (DeHart) Sinkler.
He graduated from Mary D Bradford High School, Kenosha, WI in June of 1989.

He enlisted in the US Army in June 1989, receiving his basic training in Fort Benning Georgia and then transfered to Germany for Infantry training. His primary specialties were 11M10 Fighting Vehicles and was trained as an Infantryman Gunner. He served in Operation Desert Shield & Operation Desert Storm in 1991. During his military career, he received the Army Achievement Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Southeast Asia Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon. He achieved the Rank of SPC-E4. After the Gulf conflict, he returned to Fort Benning Georgia where he graduated with a diploma in Computer Programming in April of 1993. He retired disabled from the US Army in March of 1994.

He resided at the Heritage in Kenosha, affiliated with Alpha Homes of Wisconsin from 1995-2003. He then moved to the North Chicago VA Medical Center for long term care where he remained.

Surviving are his Grandmother Irene Taylor, Bruce, WI. Grandmother Raeburn DeHart, Elton, WI. His father Ralph Taylor, Idaho. Mother and Stepfather Raymond and Charlene (DeHart) Sinkler, Kenosha. Brother, Bruce Taylor, Kenosha, Sister, Dorina Molina, Iowa. And other siblings on his father's side. His Niece's and nephew, Corina Irving, Alyssa Taylor, and Ethan Taylor. Aunts and Uncles, Sandra Rowley, Allan (Marla) DeHart, Mike DeHart, Charles DeHart, Gary (Barb) DeHart, Pam (Vaughn) Powell, Paula DeHart, Denise (Rosemary) Taylor, Karen Galvin, Donna (Frank) Oeffling, Kevin (Marion) Taylor, Yvonne (Tom) Scott and his many cousins and friends.

He was preceeded in death by his Grandparents Charles and Dorothy DeHart, and Emil DeHart, and his Uncle Duane DeHart.
Funeral services will be held at Bradley Funeral Home, Hwy 45, Antigo at 10:00 am Saturday January 3, 2009. Rev. Marvin Kindle will officiate. A visitation including a Veterans Honor Guard from 6:30 to 7:30 pm will be held from 3:30 to 8:00pm Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to time of services at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Bent Cemetery, Bryant with the White Lake American Legion conducting Military Honors.
