Beatrice Pilath, of Birnamwood, died Thursday, December 25, 2008 at home under the care of her husband and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 70 years old. She was born June 28, 1938 in Arkansas to James and Sylva (Beebe) Laster. She married Carl Pilath on Jan. 9, 1966 in Yorkville, IL. He survives.
She moved to Birnamwood in 1967.
Surviving including her husband is one sister Iaina Chapman, Tyronza, AR.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Nellie Gaab in 2005, her parents and two brothers John and James, one sister Annie May.
Memorial services will be held on Friday January 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Visitation will be one half hour prior to services.
