Georgian Georgie Resch, 83 of Antigo, WI, died Friday, April 18, 2008 in Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born November 29, 1924 in Antigo, WI, Daughter of the late Anton and Caroline (Wencel)Krause


She married the late Victor A. Resch on August 7, 1948 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2007

She retired in 1987 as a Registered Nurse Supervisor for Langlade Memorial Hospital .

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Antigo, .

Surviving are 5 daughters, Susan (John) Buckett Leopolis, Cynthia (Paul) Kissinger Neenah, Victoria (Michael) Preboski Merrill, Ann (Thomas) Anderson Bryant, Laura (Dan) Hoffmeister Antigo; 2 sons, Patrick (Jeanne) Resch Watkins, CO, Michael (Mary Ellen) Resch Plover; 2 sisters, Patricia (John) Leindwander Marshfield, Helen Drexler Cedarburg; sister-in-law, Joanne Krause Madison; 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor A. Resch and Parents, daughter Mary Ellen Childers, 2 brothers Roderick and Philip Krause .

Services will be held at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo, Monday, April 21, 2008 at 12:30pm with Rev. Charles Hoffmann, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Queen of Peace Cemetery, Antigo, WI.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 20 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a parish wake service at 3:30pm and Monday from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo, WI.
