Ann Nett, age 75, of Pickerel, WI, died at home on Thursday, September 13, 2007 with her family in the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was born January 10, 1932 in Portland, OR to the late Dr. Frank and Eleanor (Messinger) Menne. On February 7, 1953 she married John "Jack" Nett, Sr. in Fond du Lac, WI. He survives. She is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel.

She was a Registered Nurse earning her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Portland, Portland, OR and her Masters Degree in Nursing from Northern Michigan University, Marquette, MI.

Her long career in nursing included clinical nursing at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac; Instructor of Nursing, Moraine Park Technical Institute, Fond du Lac, Northcentral Technical College, Wausau and Nicolet Area Technical College, Rhinelander. She retired in 1997.

She loved to read biographies, knit, paint, and camping at Jack Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son John Nett, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Monday, September 17, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel. Rev. Jerome Taddy will officiate.
