Roy M. Guenther age 85, lifelong Town of Harrison resident died Thursday Sept. 6, 2007 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Born on Dec. 14, 1921 to John and Josephine (Manser) Guenther, he attended Eau Claire River Grade School in the Town of Harrison. Mr. Guenther farmed all his life on the family farm and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Aniwa. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and trapping.
Survivors include one sister Caroline (Roman) Fleischman, Antigo, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers Ervin, Edward, Clarence, John, Lawrence, Joseph, two sisters Edna Crawford and Christine Markgraf.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Aniwa with Rev. Everard Scesney, OFM, officiating. Burial will take place in St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the church on Saturday. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences at www.bradleyfh.com
