Linda Tenant, longtime Antigo resident, died Sunday Aug. 26, 2007 at home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice, she was 82. Born on Feb. 26, 1925 in Cudahy to Nicholas and Clara (Holmburg) Kovacevic, she married Alfred Gerald Tenant on Jan. 7, 1947 in Antigo. He preceded her in death June 11, 1999.

She was raised in Milwaukee where she graduated from Sacred Heart School for Girls in 1939. Following marriage she moved to Antigo and was employed for 25 years at the Antigo Daily Journal as a word processor. She was a member of the Vilas Women's Club and enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and crocheting.

Survivors include her daughter Bobbie (Joe) Bernudez, Las Vegas, NV, two sons John (Cynthia) Tenant, Kenosha, Bruce (special friend Tonya Hoffman) Tenant, Antigo, twelve grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and close friends Bob and Tina Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, one daughter Joan Tenant, a granddaughter Nina Gutierrez, one sister Rose Goll.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday 10:00 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Omer Kelley officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 3:30 - 8:00 p.m.and again on Thursday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. all at the funeral home.
